This book is divided into two sections:
- The first section is to give the teacher confidence in teaching clay projects with helpful hints on organizational tips, keeping the dust down, student supply lists, histories and tests (with keys) that relate to clay.
- The second section is 43 lesson plans that are all hands on and no potters’ wheel required. Middle school teachers can choose which lesson plans to use for the time they have in the classroom, skill level and age group of their students. High School teachers have enough lesson plans for the entire year if they choose.
